Eamon Ore-Giron (b. 1973, Tucson, Arizona) received his M.F.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles and B.A. from San Francisco Art Institute. He has exhibited his work, as a solo practitioner and as part of collaborative endeavors, at numerous international locations, including: San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; Hammer Museum, Los Angeles; Prospect.3 New Orleans; LAXART, Los Angeles; 500 Capp Street, San Francisco; Pérez Art Museum Miami; PEANA, Monterrey, Mexico; Ballroom Marfa, Texas; OFF Biennale, Cairo; Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, San Francisco; Museo Rufino Tamayo, Mexico City, and more. He was recently included in the seminal exhibition SOFT POWER curated by Eungie Joo at SFMOMA. His work is in the public collections of the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, SFMOMA, Kadist Art Foundation, and Pérez Art Museum Miami, among others. This Fall 2020/Spring 2021, he will have an artist residency and show with the Anderson Collection at Stanford University. He lives and works in Los Angeles.
